An introduction to Luffness Mains
Situated in the fertile countryside of East Lothian, Luffness Mains is a leading arable farm business, growing top quality potatoes for Tesco and a variety of other crops. We are also home to a new outdoor equestrian school for local riders.
Modern and innovative, but with generations of farming experience behind us, our philosophy is simple; providing our customers with excellent products, and doing so through a policy of pro-active environmental stewardship. We work in close partnership with a community of stakeholders including our potato packer for Tesco, Greenvale AP, other local farmers and landowners who rent land to us, FWAG, LEAF, SAC, SCRI and many suppliers, all of whom with our 10 full-time staff, enable our continuing progress.

Our website contains various areas as shown above with news from our business and equestrian events in our arena also highlighted here. What we grow shows details of our potato varieties and other crops. Partnerships shows how we collaborate with many other farmers and organisations. Our environmental policy is important for our future and our customers. Royal Highland Educational Trust carries out vital educational work with school children and we highlight this. Our equestrian facilities and activities are shown on this area of the site.
